The weather in January to March was significantly warmer than last year, but also lower than the long-term average. As in the previous year, April was colder than the long-term average, above average in rainfalls.
2. Spring works and vegetation stage
The weather allowed the normal course of spring work at the usual times. The cutting of hops began in mid-March for the hybrid varieties Sladek, Premiant and Agnus. The variety Saaz started at the end of March. Compared to last year, the training of hops began at the turn of April and May.
