The same as last year's June was the temperature above average compared to the 30-year average. The rainfalls were average.

2. Spring works and vegetation stage

The same as last year's June was the temperature above average compared to the 30-year average. The rainfalls were average. The growth of hop gardens due to weather conditions can be assessed as good, both in terms of growth and health. Large parts of the areas have been blooming and in older stands have already appeared the heads of hops in the middle of the month, which is unusual in this period. Most of the hops reached the top of the construction. The Rakovník district was hit by heavy rain (up to 200 mm) with hail on 12th June . Damaged were about 80 ha of stands.

3. Pests and diseases

Overall, the hops are in a very good condition. During the month, we continued on chemical protection of hops against fungal diseases. Also, treatment was applied against aphids and red spider mite, but their presence was not extreme.
