In comparison to the long-term average figure the first three months were of above-average temperature. Rainfalls were average between January and March, in April were significantly below-average only 14,8 mm which is 46 % of long term average.
In April rainfalls were below-average and average temperature values in comparison with 30-years average.
2. Spring works and vegetation stage
Spring work took place on time and in good quality in all areas in April. Vegetation condition corresponds to the period.
The training of the hops varieties Sladek and Premiant began at end of April. We expect the training of the main variety Saaz around the 10th May.

Compared to 2015, there was increase in the surface of 161 ha.
