In comparison to the last year the first three months were significantly cooler than the long-term average, rainfalls were average. In April, the temperatures were slightly above-average, but rainfalls were below-average.
2. Spring works and vegetation stage
Spring works, wiring and cutting hops, went smoothly and without problems, despite their expected delay due to an extremely cold weather in March.
The training of the hops varieties Sladek and Premiant began on 1st May. We expect the training of the main variety Saaz around the 10th May.
